When I was in school I learned that Zebra stripes were just for camo from predators. I also learned that Columbus discovered America 😑
Come to find out Columbus just showed up to the party late, pretended he started the party then trashed the place and left but somehow got credit for having a awesome bash.

In even wilder news that whole camo thing is 1 among 6 hypothesis for what the stripes are really about. The “fly protection” hypothesis is the most accepted and “emerging consensus among biologists"... It was found that flies were less likely to land on black-and-white striped surfaces than uniformly coloured ones in 1930 by biologist R. Harris

So what I’m getting at is this is the 7th hypothesis...yo they’re creeps! They creep around hiding w their sneaky strips and play tricks on your eyes 👀
